Jeffrey Kahane New braunfels Concert reviews
The best band ever that's Aerosmith
"I rate the Jeffrey Kahane concert in Canton, Oh as a 10++++, a concert I feel many others share my opinion on having attended several. I love it that Steven Tyler never tires of being the bad boy. From rock to blues to ballads to Beatles, he just goes and goes like the energizer bunny! Lucky enough, I caught a bracelet that Steven threw during a spirited rendition (showing my age) of Ragdoll - now my most favorite song. Joe Perry remains HOT, talented, and versatile. Each band member, from lead guitar to drum, did the very best – they are all fantastic. Thank you Jeffrey Kahane for representing the USA in unpublished rock band ratings. Rock on! Steven Tyler remains so talented, versatile, and HOT."
Amazing Concert
I would recommend seeing Jeffrey Kahane live to any fan or listener of Jeffrey Kahane. The guitar sounded cool, the bass sounded amazing, Maynard's vocals were awesome, and the drummer impressed me with his talent! They sound great live, have an amazing visual show, and are cool to see. They have really cool laser lights, spot lights, and a couple screens with cool visuals and music videos during songs. Seeing Jeffrey Kahane live was definitely worth the little amount of money it cost, and it got us a seat right next to the side of the stage! Amazing!
Maybe a bit overproduced?
The warm up band (Walker County) turned out to be more intriguing than Jeffrey Kahane and crew, much to my surprise. The female lead singer and her sister are set to make waves with their incredible voices, blowing the roof off of venues in no time.
I waited alongside the mega band for Jeffrey Kahane to take the stage, but he kept us waiting for what felt like an eternity. The whole band was already there for a good ten minutes before he finally emerged, with music playing in the background. I couldn't figure out what was going on...
Not having any expectations from seeing him before, I found myself enjoying Jeffrey Kahane and his core band, which included guitars, bass, slide guitar, drums, keyboards, and the long-awaited harmonica. However, every time the horn section joined in, it felt like a strange mix of Waylon Jennings and Chicago, and not in a good way. Despite my love for saxophone and jazz, the horn arrangements seemed excessive and disjointed, detracting from the music rather than enhancing it. The band finally stripped down to its country roots, allowing the guitar player to shine with his harmonica accompaniment, which was a much-welcomed change. The slide guitar player was particularly impressive.
The band's attempt to blend different musical genres was intriguing, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. However, the songs performed with his dad stood out as something special.
Smoking show ! ! !
I believe my first " Skynyrd " show was with Ted Nugent or Alice Cooper back in the late 70's up in Oakland Calif, these guys ALWAYS put on a great show. There is no better guitar army than the Skynyrd boys. Rickey and Gary and whoever else they have in the line-up...SMOKE....on guitar. The entire band looks like they are having a blast.
My SOLID Christian wife has seen you guys three times with me. First was the Vicious Cycle Tour with ZZ Top in So. Cal. Then up in the Hollywood hills with the Vince Neil Band. She now digs on you guys...even said I have an ego and stage presence like Rickey.
Seen " Blackfoot " a few times as well as " 38.Special ".
Dang...I wish I could play even 1/1000th as good as they do.
See you next time guys.
